Is this like the flat earth thing where a bunch of people troll each other so long that idiots start believing it.

Fritos, goldfish crackers, or regular crackers for some crunch. Then some shredded cheese and maybe sour cream if I had a heavy hand with the peppers.

I grew up in NW IA. Chili was served with cinnamon rolls as the dessert. HOWEVER, there was also a side: Lettuce sandwiches. That's right...white bread, butter, Miracle Whip and...lettuce. Very weird....and surprisingly good!:)

You don't grill it. It's just a cold cheese sandwich or plain old break and butter. You cinnamon roll and corn bread people are weirdos.

Normally if grilled cheese is involved, then that needs to be paired with tomato soup, not chili. I used to just butter some bread, fold it in half and then dip it that way too.
