I'm tired of all this non-football stuff. Let's get back to the season. After our dominating performance last weekend, I think we have a shot at 10 wins. If I'm being conservative, I say 9, but I think we can get 10. What say you?
How Many Regular Season Games Will ISU Win?

My expectation is 7, would be more than pleased with 8+.
I can't get a read on this team yet, and the Big12 looks tougher than I thought it would. I would say 6 to 10 with a lot of close games either way.
I agree with OP. I think we needed the Iowa game to reach 10 wins. I'm highly optimistic going into conference season, but the realist in me says we will drop more than one game somewhere in there. I do think we beat either Texas or OU this year (most likely Texas). Besides those games I'm most concerned with OSU and KSU.
I think we beat Texas. Oklahoma scares me obviously. I could see us dropping 1 more. Not sure why you would only expect 7?
This is separation Saturday for four potential contenders: ISU, oSu, BU, and K-State. Ku, TxT, and WVU are not top half quality outfits and should be considered wins for the other four. TCU is sorta an enigma presently. Texas and OU will be considered upsets if taken down by any of the four. So, after Saturday it will easier to forecast ISU's future as well as others. Given that, my vote was 8.
Going with 8. Had thought 9 earlier but Big XII is a notch better than expected.

Expect 8. 9 seems very possible. Wouldn’t be upset at 7. Anything less than 7 would be a severe disappointment.
I would put KSU 3rd or 4th on the list. They are a tough bunch. Baylor is about to get whooped this weekend, but it's on the road so I get it. I personally would put them below KSU and OSU.
Kansas State looks better than I expected and I thought we would beat Iowa.
We should've beaten Iowa but it happens. Weird game, weird circumstances, so whatever. I think we've found our groove now so I feel good about the team moving forward.
I voted 8 but could see a 9 win season. I think this game with Baylor on the road could forecast how the season plays out for ISU.
