Really need to look at what we are doing on special teams.

-two punts into the end zone from the Iowa 35
-botched kickoff return that results in a punt that gives iowa the ball at the 25
-that disaster at the end

Special teams lost the game. Just pathetic performance from special teams all around.

WE have the physical skill but not the better team. 1/2 dozen places to win that game and we failed at each one.

Not giving up on them but they haven't taken that next step yet.

More capable physically but Iowa was better in playing basic football.

There's things ISU is doing that should be taken care of in about mid-August.

He's partially right you know, I said last week they have the worst stable of running backs in the Big 12, nothing they did today showed me anything different. Purdy makes their offense role, if he happens to get hurt this offense is in deep trouble.
