Melvin is a stud. One of our best all-around players by the time he graduated. Always loved seeing him play.

The challenge would be having a time he can be in Ames for the ceremony when he's in Europe the whole season. But they'll retire it, I'm sure. He shoots well enough and guards multiple positions that he wouldn't embarrass himself in the NBA.

FWIW....I'm trying my hardest (along with a couple others) to talk Melvin into playing TBT this summer. He does have interest, but they have crazy schedules. We shall see.
