What will it take to get Sports Betting or Daily Fantasy In Iowa

They dont plan on paying out to anyone. They are banking on everyone losing what they deposit $$$
Does anyone know if I can go to the sports book at like 1:00am and open my account? Asking for my future drunk self.
Not surprising. They had what, less than four months to slap something together once the legislation passed?
I would not mind if Iowa State's win total got pushed up to 8.5
I would take the under and be very happy to lose.
4 months is plenty of time to get something better than that. And it’s not like it was a surprise thrown on them. They knew the legislation was coming.
I’ve seen better looking sports bars get furnished and built out inside in less than two months, so there’s really not an excuse for Prairie Meadows besides being lazy.
It’s smart to start basic. Then once they get some numbers they can start adding to it and trumpet the NEW! BIG CHANGES! MORE! whenever they decide to do upgrades. Bring in some celebs/KXNO etc. to keep buzz going.
What are the pictures you're basing your opinion on? I'm curious what it looks like.
The tables and chairs don't look very luxurious, but it has a bunch of televisions to watch games. What did you expect?
That area with the multi-screens looks kind of lame but the bar looks fine.
Something that doesn’t resemble a broke Buffalo Wild Wings. They could have easily looked at other sports book lounge for inspiration but they went lazy.
I bet other casino's in iowa dont have anything close to this. Most are going to just have a big lines board and some walk up windows to bet at and thats it
