Making DJ's top 8 is a bit of a surprise to me considering the blue bloods were starting to zero in on him late this summer, (and obviously wouldn't have ISU as a contender to get his commitment especially until I see a visit occur). Credit the staff for making the in roads with Seward and I think it is safe to say the staff isn't afraid of going up against any program.
Foster is releasing his top 3 tomorrow.

"His recruitment has also been going very well, he’s got tons of schools still heavily involved with him.
He’s also got several new interests.
“Iowa State, Memphis, Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas, NC State, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Mississippi State, Texas, LSU, St. Louis -(In no particular order)”
The new interests Murrell listed are Michigan State and UCLA.

Bit more on the uptick on recruitment of Walton. He'll be in Ames next week.
.@jakeweingarten Four-star rising senior Kerwin Walton has scheduled an unofficial visit to Iowa State on August 8th, also, next month will take an official visit to Arizona, he tells @Stockrisers

Can’t Penny just get nailed with recruiting violations already, he is really starting to get on my nerves.
I heard Tom Kakert on the radio today and he says Foster is an Iowa lean and said “the rumor that Xavier’s GF goes to ISU is just a rumor and no one knows that for sure”.
Lol what? Either his girlfriend goes to Iowa State or she doesnt. How is it a rumor? Xavier isnt going to Iowa. Basketball cemetery head coach with zero track record of getting his players to the NBA.
Kakert is the moron that fan base deserves.
