I'm just gonna assume they'll get another run this inning or next and be done. Certainly not gonna stick around for them to lose it in extras. What a ******* mess.

Even if you are optimistic about the Cubs making the playoffs they cant do much damage with this ****.
I'm done with Joe. Two consecutive nights he pulled his starter an inning early. And paid the price.
At this point Theo has to be talking to the Ricketts to open up the checkbook a bit at the trade deadline to get some bullpen help and a leadoff hitter. If they don't it could be a disappointing end to the season like last year was.
I don't understand how anyone could be optimistic about this team reaching the playoffs given the propensity for their bats to just disappear and not having a single ******* reliable arm in the bullpen.
At this point he either has to make a deep run in the playoffs or hes gone. They wont fire him at this point but not extending his contract before this season spoke volumes about the front office expectations. He'll always have a place in Cubs history for breaking the drought but the way hes managed since then probably would have got a lot of guys fired by now
It's incredible how many games the bullpen has blown. The game may be tied but you can just tell it's going to be a Cubs loss. They never win after getting themselves into these situations.
Wick needs more opportunities. Impressive K there in a tight spot. Joe may have to put his inexperienced relievers in some tight spots going forward because his veteran guys aren't getting it done right now
Best we will get is the team having to dress up in costumes next road trip.
That was a huge out for Wick. The pitch before that was pretty damn good too
