I thought losing Lou Ayeni would hurt us on the recruiting trail but Nate Scheelhaase is absolutely killing it out there.

I know a guy that runs a speed/agility/strength place down here. He works with a number of D1 prospects in football and soccer. He talks with Scheelhaase regularly and said that Nate has a great rapport with these guys. He has seen a marked increase in Iowa State interest and gives Scheelhaase a ton of credit.

Great pickup here because Mizzou and KU were after him hard. Although I feel this way to some extent with every recruit, every DL we get I immediately think they are going to be a stud. Campbell recruits every DL and Coach Rasheed (and Scheelhause) is doing a great job with these guys.

DL looks like it could be loaded for years to come
