Golf Sucks

Playing right now and there are currently 4 groups on the same hole we are on. 1st group was about 270 yards from the tee box, wind in our face and the 2nd group waits. Each of them hits and the longest drive of the 4 went maybe 175 yards. Current group, in front of us waits just as long and hitting now.

I stopped playing because the course was so packed. 6+ hours to play 18 wasn't fun.

I live on a course now. It's empty a lot of the time and I still hear people complain that it's too busy. They have no idea.

Any of them wearing cutoff jean shorts? That’s usually a bad sign in my experience. Also, the ones that throw an extra ball down in the fairway so their 4 year old can take a few swings on a crowded course.

No jean shorts. I’m playing what is supposed to be a pretty decent course in the DSM/Ankeny metroplex.

My guess is Otter, the pace of play there yesterday was a joke as my buddies walked off after 16 holes.
