It will be interesting to see how Hurts does at OU, they have always been a pass first team, that is not Jalen's strength. He is more of a game manager, spread system. run the ball QB.

I think he'll fit in just fine there. He's not as bad of a passer as people think, and him being a threat to run will give defenses fits, just like Murray did.

We shall see, at Alabama his passing skills was his downfall. He locked onto a receiver and did not see the whole field. The experts were saying that he had improved on that his last year at Alabama, but it did not show up in the little playing time he got. I know he has an unbelievable record as a starting QB, but that is also at Alabama with the best talent in the country. That talent pool will drop some at OU. Hurts will have to be able to beat teams passing first, if he cannot, teams will stack the box and plan on him running the ball.

Considering how the slotted some on pure potential, I’d say Brock is too low.

I also wouldn’t say that his ceiling is the “third” best quarterback I the Big XII.

Really an in-depth analysis (not!). This looks like a meaningless click-bait article that some guy put together in about 30 minutes. I'm willing to wait for September to start figuring out who the top quarterbacks are.

I suspect Purdy can hold his own with just about anyone, but let's wait for the season to start. Considering he had the 6th highest QB rating in the nation last year, knocking him back to #16 seems uncalled for. But still, let him prove it next Fall.

I know it is just a preseason article with not a lot of meaning in the long run, but it is fun to see our football team get some national recognition in the preseason for the first time in what seems like forever.

This can't be right. He's ranked ahead of Stanley. I've been assured by Squawk fans Stanley is NFL great.
