There seems to be a large winter storm coming this week to the Twin Cities...over a foot of snow they're saying. Anyone have any thoughts on if this actually happens or could be less/more? One model has a chance of 30+ inches. WTF.

Sorry, not making fun of you or the topic. Just that weather predictions seem so varied anymore, and if you wait a couple days, usually the rhetoric changes.

There has been some rumbling about snow here on Thursday, though.....

Totally agree and typically don't really pay attention until a couple of days before. But the outlook has gotten progressively worse, not better since the weekend. Went from 'maybe some flakes but mostly rain' to 'we will monitor this, it looks like we might have a few inches of plowable snow' to 'yeah, there is a chance this is a major event like last year of 8 inches or so' to 'some places in the Twin Cities could see 16 inches' to 'travel will be nearly impossible with the amount of snow plus 60mph winds'

Tire of the snow and such but at least it won't be around for long.

70-something like today is way better.

If I remember right the Mn legislature has already said the schools don't have to make up snow days, so two more vacation days for the kids!

We'll all going to die!

So I grilled out tonight, three miles west of Target Field.

Going to die well-fed.
