So how many times have we defeated Final Four teams during the season in Iowa State's recent history. Texas Tech this year was one.

We beat Kansas in 2012 when they were runner-up to Kentucky. Can't think of any others at the moment

Beat Danny and the Miracles in Hilton in 1988, and I was there. Screw the Final Four, they were the National Champions.

If you had told me when State played Little Rock in 2016 that one of those coaches was going to be in the national title game in 2019....

With or without Lard, Shayok, THT, NWB, and Wiggs?

Depends on which 4 of those 5 (or all 5) showed up.

With Tech you know what's there and what they'll do and they do it.

With ISU it was an 8 ball on how they'd play or who played what role for the team.

They didn't curb stomp us in the last game we had. We should have won that game.

I disagree with your premise.

How was their whole season?

How was ISU game to game?

Can you see ISU manning up and playing Tech or any of these teams on this kind of stage?

In 2005 Iowa State loses to NC in round of 32 and NC wins it all
In 2012 Iowa State loses to KY in round of 32 and KY wins it all
In 2014 Iowa State loses to UCONN in sweet 16 and UCONN ???
