Interesting about Gomez and a possible Olympic redshirt. ISU has other options at 133, but clearly not with the high ceiling of Gomez.

Wonder if it depends on what other guys do. If Micic, Fix, and others take an olympic RS, 133 could open up a bit for Austin.

I guess one benefit of Gomez taking an Olympic redshirt is it is going to be a behemoth if a weight again next year. Clear out some of those guys and have 3 years left. I still hope he wrestles next year though

Those guys are a hoot. The aliens discussion was entertaining. And while I wouldn’t mind seeing Penn State have a down year, it’d suck if it allowed the hawks to win it.

Gomez has stated his initial commitment to ISU was in large part to do with KJs freestyle accomplishments. He’s a great FS wreslter. Makes a lot of sense if his ultimate goal is Olympic gold. Also holds him back a year to line up with Anderson, Reeves (Carr) for 3 years.
