Giants trade OBJ to Cleveland for the #17 overall pick and a 3rd rounder in this year's draft plus Jabrill Peppers.

As a NYG fan, I'll take this deal every day of the week.

Nah, Beckham's a diva, good riddance. Vernon's a stud but that trade addressed huge area of need on the OL. Giants now have #6 and #17 plus an extra 3rd rounder and solid help in the D backfield.

Yeah but if they wanted to move him, they should have done it last year. Still would have got a similar deal

Hindsight 20/20. I still love the value they got. Steelers got a 3rd and a 5th rounder for Brown. Gints get a 1st, 3rd and a starting S and return guy for Beckham. Plus get rid of an attitude case. Onward.

Giants are going to suck hard this year.

Going to be rough as long as Eli is back there but with Saquon and Engram we have two nice skill guys in place, thankfully they're finally addressing the OL, and with 2 of the top 17 picks we'll get QB an can get a stud WR to fill Beckham's slot.

Now can they get everyone on the same page and working as a team?
If they have anything remotely resembling even average coaching, that offense will be insane. The evidence of possible success was already showing itself late last season, and the personnel has gotten better yet.

Laying groundwork. Haskins will be QB of the future if he's there at 6. This will be last year of Eli.

Based on recent drafts the Giants will need to move into the top 3 if they want Haskins since he's arguably the best QB in the draft (depending on your feelings about Murray).

Honestly what the Giants should do is trade a 2nd rounder to the Cards for Rosen and use those two first round picks on the OL and D. I think Rosen could be pretty good. That Cardinals team was a dumpster fire last year. There was no hope for him.
