What a turnaround by Sammy. #1 seed is fantastic. The 180 he has made since last year and the early season this year is remarkable.

Hate the draw for Degen. Jeffries in the second round is a bad matchup for him.

Gomez and the Wyoming kid at #3 should be a great match. Hopefully he can punch his ticket to the finals. Would love for him to get another shot at Fix before Nationals.

Overall though we really I couldn’t have asked for better seeds. Even Gremmel at a 3 gets Neville as the 2 seed— someone he beat earlier this year. He out tougher the FS kid in that match.

Looking forward to seeing things play out.

Dang, I don't particularly love our draws.

We have bad draws at 125, 149 and Heavyweight. I would have preferred Mackall saw Fleetwood or Schwarm instead of Montoya in the quarters. Degen will see Jeffries in the quarters, who seems to have him figured out. Gremmel and Isley are a toss up, didn't want to see him first match.

Don't mind the rest. Happy that Parker is across from Brock, who hasn't been good this year, but I view as the best guy at 141 when he is at his best. Glad that Colbray is across from both Foster and Geer.. he earned it! At 157, Chase is in as good of a spot to win it as anybody. He just needs to put it all together for a weekend.

Agreed. Though the downside about Gremmel's bracket is the potential 1st round bout with Isley. That's a tough possible match right out of the gate. I know he has it in him to get past Isley.

125 - Mackall dropping to 6 seed, would not disappoint me. At Least Montoya has a match before and Mackall has a gas tank.
133 - Can't argue about Gomez bracket
141 - I think it is a great bracket for Parker. Brock and Alber on other side
149 - Jeffries leads series 2-1 also. Again Jeffries has a match 1st, Also Pohlmeyer and Thomsen could be good. Would of liked Degen on other side with Gfeller, he seems dinged up lately
157 - Can't really argue with Straw's bracket. I think any of the top 4 could win it
165 - If Logan can beat Kuiss (lost 3-2 earlier), the consi side is set up pretty good for him
174 - Can't complain about Coleman. If the gas tank is back, I would rather have Ja Smith after the cut, than Lujan
184 - Awesome, Foster and Geer on other side
197 - Gets his rematch with Hokit in semis
285 - Isley has a tough mat vs Metz 1st, but Isley leads series 2-1 in college, I think. Gremmel will need to be ready every match. Not a lot of difference between healthy guys seeded #2 to #6
