Va. - The 18th-ranked Iowa State women's basketball team (13-3, 3-1 Big 12) is set to hit the road and take on West Virginia (11-4, 2-2 Big 12) on Wednesday Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. at WVU Coliseum. Iowa State is looking for its eighth-straight win and 12th win in Hilton Coliseum this season. Iowa State trails the all-time series 4-9 and is 2-4 in WVU Coliseum. Iowa State is 1-0 on the road so far in Big 12 action, topping KU in the second game in Big 12 play.

This will be a very telling game. Reatime has our RPI/Power ranking at 11 and WVU at 83 and gives us a 63% chance of winning. Two common opponents, WVU lost at home to UT by 12 last week and lost at home by 3 to Iowa in November. On the season, we average 79 and allow 62 compared to their 71/60.

To be fair he just said our own Scott was "assaulted" on a routine foul by WVU to keep Scott going up for an easy putback.
