The buyout is still incredibly high.

Or its Campbell saying i have a great AD and no guarentee a new ad would be as good.

This is the way I read it, too. The way I see things right now is that Pollard is here for as long as he wants to be, but Campbell wants to make sure that JP is his AD while he's coaching at ISU. If JP we're to leave or retire and Campbell didn't like his situation with the new AD, he'd have an "easier" way out.

I love how a six win season is now "business as usual".
I agree but I would like to see some more of the incentive bonuses. CFP and maybe 10 wins. I read the article yesterday and have used all my free ones so forgive me if those are in there

No win levels, but 500k to win the conference and 500k to win title game which would be darn close to the CFP if that happens.

This.

From what I’ve gathered listening to coach publicly and what others have told me privately, Pollard is a huge part of why Campbell took the job.

I've said before - can't think of a better trio to lead these programs than JP, CMC and CSP. We may not win national championships but the character of these men recruiting these men to these programs will never be higher.

Too bad we can't put a buy out on Heacock's contract!

I saw somewhere that he got a raise to $650,000, which is low for a Big 12 coordinator with his skill.
