Seems dumb, but that stadium will host some event almost every day of the year.

I personally have no issue with their decision to be closed on Sundays as its their choice, but seems odd both parties would think this is a good idea. However as someone else said, plenty of other events will be held at the stadium.

Testifying
There will be college football games, rodeos, concerts, a Final 4, bowl games, NFC plays a playoff game on a Saturday, the list goes on and on.

2,000 stores and 6 billion in revenue but a few internet posters will laugh at them.
I wouldn't question them from wanting to open a store because of their Sunday status.
I also applaud Arthur Blank because a long time ago he laid the hammer down on outrageous concession prices and the Falcons will have some pretty reasonably priced food and drink:

ITEMS COST COST
Classic Hot Dog $2 Waffle Fries $3
Pizza Slice $3 Classic Cheeseburger $5
Nachos $3 Chicken Tender Basket $6
Snacks Cost Cost
Pretzel $2 Popcorn $2
Peanuts $3
Beverages Cost Cost
Regular Coca-Cola** $2 Dasani Bottled Water $2
Souvenir Coca-Cola** $4 12 oz. Bud Light $5
** Comes with free/unlimited refills
>> All prices include sales tax

Are these prices current? Hell that's cheaper than Hilton.

Way up there
They'll still get a ton of cash from the location plus they get all the attention from this. I think they are in on creating the hype around this story or at the least don't mind it. The biggest misconception here is that its an actual restaurant, it'll be a food court counter like at the ATL airport. It'll just be one less food counter open than normal.

That is some cheap stadium food!
I could almost buy that entire menu for the price of 2 beers and nachos at Wrigley or the UC.

Doesn't a big order of Chick-fil-a nuggets always sound great on SUNDAY???

Watch college ball all day Saturday. The ads must not hit me for 24 hours.
