Does he play or redshirt this fall? Anyone care to speculate?
I would guess that he will be in that top 7 or 8 available so I would think that means he plays. But then again, if he's not in the top 5 and the OL stays healthy (knock on wood) he might RS.

Nice to have that kind of option though for sure.

Another note, 6'6 315? We're going to have a massive OL this year.

Here's an example of how big the OL could be this year.

Keep in mind, these are from the 2016 roster so a few weights are definitely low compared to now (Foster, Campos, Meeker, JGJ, Mueller).

Foster 6'8 290
Campos 6'8 305
Meeker 6'5 305
Oge 6'3 325
Dawson 6'3 330
JGJ 6'5 295
Knipfel 6'6 315
Mueller 6'6 298

Would also assume that Garcia has beefed up from 285 since his switch to OL.

If this staff could just catch a break this year and FINALLY have one season without attrition due to injury with the big guys, watch out. OL is our biggest concern heading into the season but certainly some growing optimism. Love what Manning is doing with these guys

Awesome addition! Even better if CW's birdie is correct

Let's assume CW's birdie is correct, where do people see him starting? Guard or Tackle? And ahead of who?

My uneducated guess would be a 4 way battle at both guard spots between Oge, Meeker, Dawson, and Knipfel. Unless he can play tackle, then he would be in a 3 way battle with Campos and Foster.
