No it doesn't. It clearly is a compliment in regards to being fast for a 300+ guy.

yeah that's my bad. I skimmed and didn't see that came from Alex. To me it read, he's a big dude, but slow. I thought 4.9 was fast for a DT, but wasn't really sure. Glad my first inclination was right, just my reading comprehension was poor.

Dude looks like a beast. I like this commit. Some highlight video's show him playing fullback too. Could help our offense in short yardage situations??

Not sure how legit that 4.90 40 yard dash time is, as a lot of HS times are either hand timed or use sketchy timing systems, but if he can really run a 4.90 at 300+ lbs, that is very impressive.
For comparison, 4.90 in the 2015 NFL combine would have placed him 16th for DL and if you take out DE's and only do DT's, he would have had the 2nd fastest time. (behind Xavier Cooper, 4.86)

It was supposedly run at ISU's camp but it's hard to tell how official that is either

I wonder if they just get a quick hand time for players at camps? If anybody has ever been to the ISU camp, maybe they can shed some light. Assuming it was hand timed, that's still a 5.14 converted to FAT. Which is still pretty good for a HS DL weighing 300 lbs.

Kid camped at Iowa was being recruited by Iowa, wisc, nebraska, auburn, mich st. And many others. Those schools don't waste time and money recruiting kids they think are bad.

Did he officially visit any of those schools? Did any do an in home visit? If not, they just paid for postage... Not saying he is bad but don't act like any of those schools were seriously recruiting him.

Looking up some stats from his school. He had 2 rushing TD's in the first game this year.
