Years ago buddy and I went to Central Campus in the middle of the summer to throw around the disc. My buddy who is usually pretty accurate suddenly started throwing them a bit away from me toward a copse of trees. Where I had the most defined feeling of leaving the midwest (prairie) and entering the plains is crossing the Missouri in South Dakota on I-90. You go down into the river valley in prairie and climb out of the valley in the plains. -
