    You could be right. I just think coach values his integrity more than a game against an out of conference opponent. I won't be disappointed if he plays them as it helps the team's chances to win. However, I don't think it's a good reflection on character development.

    Unfortunately for the ISU, I would expect Campbell to hold them out next week. I don't believe he wants to go down the path of choosing victories over character. Not all coaches would make that difficult decision. Matt will.

    Dear Heacock:

    I like your optimism, but you don't lose 3 starting DL and a starting MLB and expect to be as good next year. I don't care if the JUCO DT's exceed expectation. It just doesn't happen. If ISU's defense is as good as this year, Heacock deserves assitant coach of year.
