    Weiskamp scored practically all his points on layups. Good luck trying to score inside next year with below average quickness. He looks just like their other players..step slow...not good enough ball handler for guard. I really thought there would be more to his game. Poor man's Matt Thomas.

    I agree and think ISU will used the proximity to Des Moines more often to promote what Ames and Iowa State have to offer. I know several students that attend junior college at DMACC but live in Ames.

    No, the reason ISU suffers losses later is because the schedule gets a heck of a lot tougher. No offense to Iowa. Although they have a sound scheme, their athletes in general do not match up with the teams in the big 12. It's the reason ISU beats them 50% of the time in the last 20 years...

    This guy more than any other looks huge. He looks just like those huge tight ends Colorado used to have. There are going to be some teams that do a double take and ask where the hell did that cat come from. I could be wrong, but I think he is going to have a very good career.

    I don't know if Hummel will be great or a bust. I do know he looked fast on the football field and that was verified on the track. I also know he is bigger than the tiny more highly rated recruits we have brought in at linebacker and those guys have done nothing yet. I am excited about him...
