Arriving around same time. Staying at Clarion across from Universal.
Just cancelled a non smoking King at the Best Western. ! mile from the stadium. Was $148
Had to do some weird stuff to make it work, but the wife and I are making the trip! Flying out of MSP at 5:15 AM on the 27th so we’re just going to drive straight up from Des Moines overnight and try to sleep on the plane. Helps that I have a buddy that lives in downtown Orlando and is letting us stay with him.
Have only been to two ISU bowl games, both in Memphis. Looking forward to a bowl game with decent weather for once!

My folks had a condo on Madeira Beach for 15+ years (Jan-March) we visited them every other year. Beaches are well maintained and there is a great selection of bars and eateries. Boomer crowd, lots of vacationing Canadians and Europeans to get drunk with.
That's what I'm talking about...We love Maderia Beach

I am going to my son's boot camp graduation at the beginning of January so I won't be able to pull enough vacation for this trip.
My 18 year old son and I are also likely driving down. Looking for 2 to share drive if interested direct message me. Planning on heading down the 26th driving straight through. Start back the 29th.
They spend half the year in DFW now, so they can see the grandkids more. Only two weeks in FL.
