    We are 3-score favorites for a reason. I think most of these "its going to be close" are doing it for emotional protection. A top 25 team should win 99/100 times against an FCS team, especially in this current environment where the divide between the two leagues has never been wider.

    One of my favorite local places. Good news is that it doesn't seem to be sales related (or that's the story). I think / hope that there is still a niche market for a place like this. Make good beer, keep it simple, be inviting and consistent, etc. Not every place needs to be a monstrosity...

    He’s now struck out 7 of his last 8 ABs…that’s a bunt 100% of the time with no outs and up one. Instead, he settles for some more garbage swings. Where is the manager in those situations??

    Been going to Wrigley for 25+ years. Was there two weeks ago for Cubs-Red Sox and got bleacher tickets…for $150 each. Wrigley is awesome but the Ricketts have sucked every dollar out of it these days.

    Would be nice is spring Tucker would start to show up. He was awful in July. Plus Seiya’s slump is really bad. Doesn’t seem like anyone is capable of getting a clutch hit right now.

    They can 100% compete without Tucker because they have a ton of $$$ to spend and will find a replacement. You mention the things going right but every starting pitcher except Boyd has been injured. Where does this “elite starting pitcher” come from? No one was able to trade for one this year…
