    Parking lots technically open at 8 according to signs. Plenty of people here though. There are 4 porta potties in the S lots. D6 appears to have a couple too. Just wanted to answer my own question in case anyone else is venturing out!

    Quick question for those of you in Ames. We're heading up for the fireworks show tonight and wanted to 'tailgate' and let the kids run around beforehand. 1) What time do lots open? I found an old thread that said they opened at 7, but couldn't find anything for this year. I did find a 2024...

    Agreed. Once I get out of the immediate vicinity of Allegiant, I think (HOPE) it'll be fairly easy to catch a ride.

    I appreciate the positive reviews. Since it's only been open for a few months now, there aren't many of those floating around! We wanted to stay somewhere that we hadn't yet, so the newest place was the obvious answer.

    Going to Lincoln?

    No, Cyclone Alley will not be taking a bus to Lincoln. Our "road trip" for the year was to the Mizzou game.
