Do people usually announce retirement a year in advance? Seems strange.. It'll be embarrassing if he loses all his bets over the next year & then he has to work for a few more years.
Believe he said he wanted to put it out there early so he wouldn't change his mind come next June.

Murph on an all-time CC rant today on IE.
I stop listening/won't listen when her name is in the headlines. As much as she keeps getting talked about I wonder if she still drives listenership from Iowa fans or if it will start to negatively affect their numbers. I know now with podcasts they can track that stuff to the minute so it would be interesting if it drives an audience one way or the other.

I'm guessing for 2 Guys it lessens it because they don't talk about her near as much as last year.

Dan Patrick announced his retirement will be on Christmas Eve of 2027.
