I do wish Jamie would have more of a filter in his position so we don't have to have threads that last for 4 days. However, he is one of the best things to happen to ISU, and this is very well deserved. Hopefully part of this includes some succession planning as I doubt he works once this contract is up.

Awesome! Slob comments and beer sales controversy aside JP is the best thing to ever happen to ISU athletics.

I've been a Cyclone fan all my life and I don't recall any moment in time where we had the stability in our athletics department like we have now. It's no coincidence that we have seen a run of quite a few successful seasons to go along with that stable leadership. It could not have been timed more perfectly given the current environment in collegiate athletics.

Isn't that kind of the point of this site??

Sometimes I forget that despite what the game threads tell me, this place is a lot more reasonable than Twitter/X :p

I don't think it's a coincidence that we get news of TJ's extension with the higher payout if Pollard stays, followed by an extension of Pollard. Beyond everything that he's done for us, which is a lot (shudder to think where we'd be without him), that's a pretty good reason on its own to extend him if he's willing to keep going.

Wintersteen pulls down $750k.... guessing Pollard is in that range.
