Epic win and epic season for the good guys!

Miami blew it when they kicked the FG. They had 9 runs for 72 yards that drive along with 2 incomplete passes for zero yards when they were 2nd and goal from the 3. Run the ball 2 times and game over. They decided to pass and lost the game.

WTBS ISU snapped the ball with 20 seconds on the play clock with their last TD. That gave Miami 56 seconds instead of 36 seconds for their final drive. Did they catch Miami off-guard with the early snap? Or did ISU mismanage the clock?

Green and Brown might be decent, but as far as potential goes, I'd say Alston or Townsend. I like what we got at TE. Brahmer and Burkle are bad dudes, and Alexander could be a damn good one too.

Rocco was sharp from the start of this one.

Rocco led us all season and played some really good games overall. Tonight, he played a great game, with some clutch runs, 3 TD passes, 1 TD run, and no TO's (by him or the team).

We got it done and he was our leader!

That was a great win, and overall fun game, and from what I could see on the TV, a fantastic experience. It looked like a pretty solid crowd. Like others have said, the sponsor went out of their way to create a fun atmosphere, which is really what a bowl game should be about; an end of the season celebration for the athletes and fans!

The irony is that the defense was built because we couldn't recruit enough quality players on the D-line. Now it apparently requires a dozen NFL caliber linebackers.

And we still would have trouble getting enough d line depth, and maybe healthy non walk on freshman lb's would suffice
