KSU fan after Drake game:

“ I love Tang and love that he is the coach of my school. I'm proud of the effort in the last 3/4 of the game”

Wayne Morgan 3.0.

Sometimes assistant coaches should stay assistant coaches.

With a bit of Gene “hire your possibly not-at-all-qualified friends as assistants” Chizek. I can’t find the article now, so I’ll paraphrase, but there was a quote from (I believe) Tang saying that there were times where KSU was bringing the ball down the floor and the Iowa State players knew the play before the KState players did. That confirmed for me that 1) ISU does GREAT scout of opponents, and 2) KSU’s staff was totally unprepared for life in the Big 12.

For a supposed $5 million team, I'd say the ROI has been horrible for KState. Goes to show that the money may help you buy talent, but in the end you cannot buy success.

That's what I love about basketball. The team with the 5 most talented players isn't always the winner.
