Ech defeats Carter Young of Okla St, 4-2, and will wrestle 3rd place match later.
Jacob Frost loses on a last second takedown to Koderhandt of Navy, 8-7.
Had him beat. Both takedowns for Koderhandt were ill-advised scramble attempts by Frost.

Right. A match he should have won. I wish we showed that much fight at the end of periods and matches.
Koderhandt is ranked #8 by intermat and was #5 seed at tournament. J Frost will wrestle for 5th place.

Don’t want to over analyze things and I know Carr is still in the room: but losing him as a leader, and then with losing Casey who seemed like he was going to step into that leadership role. Could that be a reason some of our guys have looked pretty lackluster?
I was going to make a comment of it's concerning that without David and then Casey no one has decided to step up into that critical role. Seems like the fire hasn't been there. It's early and there is still time for someone to hopefully fill that role because this lineup is showing it needs someone.
Also seems to be that some of the lifestyle choices (that have been whispered) of a few are showing that they can't half ass this.
