Just did the survey ISU sent out to ticket holders, and it got me thinking about songs to play at the games. Too bad Texas and OU left because “Money Talks” would have been appropriate for any time during the game. Maybe “Hard as a Rock” after a great defensive stop. Take it from here.

I almost started a thread about that survey. I commend them on getting feedback but I’m very curious as to how people will respond and what they will actually do with that info
We found it impossible to fill out and stopped around midway
OU, UT games should include "Take the Money and Run"
I suggested that we should customize Sweet Caroline by singing "I - S - U," rather than "buh buh buh."
And that people in the lower level of the south endzone should stomp their feet when there are big defensive plays on that end. Ben Bruns said that it was built of metal so that it could be loud, So far, we haven't maximized it for the intimidation factor that Campbell wants in the stadium.

Zero chance we could get a significant percentage of people to change what's said during Sweet Caroline. It's too engrained across the country to scream "buh buh buh" during the chorus.
As for the end zone idea, I like it, but I don't think the right fan demographic is common enough in that area for something so boisterous.
Regarding the survey, as a non-ticket holder I'm curious what was on it. Does anyone recall the questions?
5 or so seasons ago ISU had a fan experience inbox where you could make suggestions and they would respond.
I told them that it was a momentum killer for the team to play Sweet Caroline during the TV timeout after a commercial and to instead play it right after the game after a win.
Basically they said no because the fans love it and it is our tradition. Funny enough, they did move it to after the game a few years ago.

Maybe we could try "**** K State," "**** The Hawks," or something along those lines.
They need to quadruple the water bottle fill stations those first few home games every year.
Stop having the band play the freaking fight song when the Team runs on the field - after playing a loud pump up song, then exactly 2.3 seconds of Stone Cold’s entrance music - then DERP - band playing fight song that can’t even be heard in the upper level. Sucks the entire energy of the entrance right out. And it’s embarrassing (and disrespectful) to cut off Stone Cold’s music almost instantly after starting it.
Nothing dorkier as a football team to have loud pump up music cut off by the band playing.

While we're on the topic of Gameday Atmosphere, did anyone else get the email about Jackie Schmillen being the JTS Gameday "Host"?
She does the same type of thing for the Barnstormers and I absolutely cannot stand her - way too loud and obnoxious. Hopefully it'll be tuned down a bit at JTS, but I'm not optimistic.

I said they needed to expand Thunderstuck. If you have ever seen the YouTube video of Virgina Tech and Enter Sandman, its pretty cool. I think we could do something similar.
