Old screens
Top: 15' w x 8' h
Middle: 11' w x 2' h
Bottom: 14.5'w x 8' h
TOTAL: 15' w x ~18' h

New boards
22' w x 15.5' h on each side
plus rounded corners (appx 5' on a curve)
plus 2 boards inside/underneath
plus new ribbon board
plus new lower corner displays

could be missing something (other than cost) but why don't they do 4 boards inside/underneath? seems like they are mainly for players and coaches. seems like the players are typically on the ends of the courts most of the time.
or maybe they the ones are enough...who knows.

They are not for players and coaches. They are for the low rows of the arena circle and courtside seating. There will be courtside seating on both sides of the court starting this year.

Seating on the ends of the court is further away from the video board that sight lines allow for viewing of the main video board.

True, not exclusively for players and coaches. But they will certainly be using them.

If memory serves me , There are some upper level seats on the ends who's view was partially blocked to the old board. Anyone know if this will be the same (or possibly worse) for the new board?

I dont think this is true. I have sat in the last row on the end before and dont remember being blocked.

I've sat in the top row on both sides and ends and there weren't any obstructions.Seems like last tiem I sat towards th etop on th eends you coun

I dont think this is true. I have sat in the last row on the end before and dont remember being blocked.
The view of the floor was unobstructed but it seems like the shot clock and top half of the backboard was covered up by the stat board. Just curious if bottom of new board will be lower than old one.
