We don't claim to be an elite program like TOE.
I must have missed all the posts claiming that Iowa was an elite program.
Iowa is the most elite program at covering up racism in college football.
This one's a start.
Iowa State is about the only school that will mock a rivals accomplishments even though those accomplishments are way better than their own.
ISU has finished the year ranked twice since KF has been at Iowa. Once in 2000 when they finished #23 and the other time was the *COVID year.
What does ISU poor football history have to do with how many times KF coached teams have been ranked. Honestly listening to Iowa fans and media I thought Iowa has been finished the season ranked a lot more.
What was I mocking. I just thought that number would be higher.
Iowa fans think their football team is one small step short of a blueblood (or other similar nonsense like “we’d be a playoff team with a top 100 offense”), but when they have to play one of the three good teams in the Big Ten once every year or two, they lose ~ 30-0.
Did I read this right? The last team Iowa beat that finished in the top 25 was the 2019 Minnesota team? I know they went 0-3 against ranked opponents this season while scoring 0 points. Granted they haven't played a lot of top 25 teams in that timeframe either. You know the B1G west won't really have any and when you get to dodge the heavy weights in the east quite a bit that makes a difference too.

Wonder if WHO-TV will keep touting Sears in their promos as “2022 Iowa Sportscaster of the Year” or “Award winning sportscaster”?
If he can win, anyone can. Doesn’t say much for the award
