Utah fans seem to be on track as being the new Texas/OU for being the new guys who think the league should revolve around them.
Not enough truck stops in Vegas....

Well technically Colorado is left... The prodigal son of the Big 8, but your point is validThe one thing that could get me against Brett would be moving the basketball tournament. So I'm glad he wants to keep it in KC.
As far as the PAC 12 schools that are ******** about Vegas go.....there are 4 original Big 8 members left in this conference (Kansases, OSU, and us). We've saved many schools over the years and the other conferences didn't want to save us. So we better get some benefits from that![]()

I think this strategy includes additional tv partners that don’t bid on football, such as TNT.Won't the media partners just undercut the TV deal for football if we try to separate basketball?
This league needs to step it up if football is going to command the cash
We just had a team in the national championship. Not looking good.

Bundling is always cheaper. Imagine the will ask for bids for bundling as well as separate. Take whatever is better. This league needs to step it up if football is going to command the cash
Or Amazon I hope.I think this strategy includes additional tv partners that don’t bid on football, such as TNT.
Fixed it for you.We just had a team get crushed in the national championship.
Well, after we finish 11-3 this year . . . . .Not looking good.
I would need the needle to bring it down if that occurred.Well, after we finish 11-3 this year . . . . .![]()

It doesn’t really matter whether the conference steps up, particularly if the BIG and SEC add ACC schools. We aren’t commanding the cash either way, and what we get is more dependent on cord cuttingThis league needs to step it up if football is going to command the cash
Yormark is the expert on all this, but I'd wonder if some cable networks or streaming services might be interested in basketball, but don't want to put up the big bucks for football.Won't the media partners just undercut the TV deal for football if we try to separate basketball?
Not debating your primary point, but old SWC members may consider themselves charter members of the Big XII as well.I’m thinking of continuous members.. We deserve respect and preferential treatment. We should demand that!
I just think that whoever owns football rights would complain about what they're paying if they lose basketball rights, which are 'free' currently. I don't know the ins and outs but it seems like a fairly obvious complaint to see if that occurs.Yormark is the expert on all this, but I'd wonder if some cable networks or streaming services might be interested in basketball, but don't want to put up the big bucks for football.
