I think some of y'all are missing the point. Because Iowa was "patient" with Bluder maybe he is alluding that Iowa fans should be patient with Fran.

Yeah, that’s drunk.

Iowa would’ve been better off rolling the dice with some other coaches vs a generation of Fran.

Why on earth woulf Baranczyk want that job after what happened to her when she was in school?

It's easier to win in the Big Ten but she can build a national power at Oklahoma.

She will never be the top dog in the SEC as long as Dawn Staley is at SC. Throw in Mulkey, Schaefer, and Kellie Harper, and it will be a while until she is at their level. She must prove she can recruit at that level because almost everyone she had at OU was Sheri Coale's recruits.

I totally agree, but I think he is trying to sell the fanbase on being more patient with Fran because of what has happened with Bluder.

What happened to her in school? As far as I've seen she's had positive things to say about Iowa and Bluder

I honestly liked Caitlin until all the Iowa fans lectured us on why we have to like her. Now I'm back to note liking her just because I'm a contrarian like that.
I like her as a fan of basketball. Seems like a good human being. But she plays for Iowa. This is elementary. Go Cocks.

All these chicken little ISU fans jumping on their bandwagon can stay over there. Puke.

And as a Cyclone fan I'm more than fine with the Iowa AD operating his programs on the basis of Strawman arguments.

A great player and a generational talent, but I'm tired of the media SLOBBERING all over her every time.
I watched her in the first half of the last game, and I would have to say I was pretty impressed with the way she handled the ball, shot and passed. The one thing that I saw from the Hawk was something that the sister struggled with. When she got doubled and kicked it out the other girls hit the shot.

Iowa fan I know called this the most hyped women's sporting event ever. Lol. Their bubbles are small.

Did they also think she's on the same level as Michael Jordan for influence on life?

The casual Iowa sports fan probably couldn't name more than one player on the women's bball team a few months ago. That's what makes me so sick about it

Shes a great player. Wish she played for us.

I'm old enough to remember when some Iowa fans mocked ISU fans for supporting their womens team. As a father of a young daughter, I'm really happy to see the sport grow and fans across the state embrace womens basketball, but its an interesting observation.
