I think their is a metal core inside the basketball, and a magnetic charge around the bucket. A Hawkeye student with a joystick, is 'deflecting' all our shots.

There was a Disney movie in the early 90s where the fat kid from Goonies rigged that exact technology up and it worked brilliantly until the ref's whistle stuck to the ball. I think he did it to impress a girl which is pretty weird in itself.

I was just having this conversation with a friend. I’ve played noon ball at the Y with some hacks for the better part of a decade and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that happen. How can a D1 guard miss that badly?

Last year, I legit thought he might have problems seeing things with the way he shot. Like maybe his depth perception is bad. Or he needs glasses. Or something.

Is their great shooting caused by us? It seems they got going with our doubling down on the block , leaving their shooters wide open and now they have confidence and can't miss no matter what we do. We've been tight in some circumstances and it hasn't mattered.

The way we play on defense explains how we have zero touch around the rim and why we are 1/16 from 3. You can’t make shots by chucking them as hard as possible at the hoop.
