Not exactly sure.
not in response to anything except how much whining the hok fans are doing about the officials. Officials don't beat you, you beat yourself but they can effect the game at times. getting old reading about it.
If the Hawkeyes would just beat themselves, they would go out of existence in a couple generations.

My oldest had a guy want to fight him because he thought my son didn’t wave long enough. Didn’t know that had wave nazis.

Might as well leave your phone in your car because signal is worse than trice.
seriously? How old is he?

Maybe that can be a new Hawk tradition?

Wave at the end of the first quarter, and then pat themselves on the back at the end of the second?
don't forget the circle jerk about the win pre-game, then the circle jerks mourning the loss post game.

I sat in the north endzone, way up by the jumbotron. Most of the fans around us were fine, but towards the end of the game an ISU fan and his wife/girlfriend got in a fight with an Iowa fan. To be completely fair, the ISU fan did not hold anything back when he celebrated anything that went our way in the game. A lot of "F*** Yeah's" directed at anyone nearby (mostly Iowa fans). A large, late middle aged Iowa fan took the bait and started shouting at him, the ISU girl fired back and punched him in the junk. He kicked her, sent her down a row of seats, then everyone nearby stepped in to stop the fight. I'm going to call this one a draw on blame... but it happened and it's kinnick stadium. Fun times.

Most everyone else was perfectly well behaved. Family in front of us was great.

I'll add my take on the stuff thrown after the X td. The line judge on the Iowa sidelines definitely appeared to be the target in my opinion. Security ran over to him and he moved away from the crowd onto the field. I saw a full water bottle nearly hit that ref, but then didn't see anyone else thrown.

I also think the rain might have helped the post game situation. Made people less angry maybe?

One big reason we don’t sell alcohol to the whole stadium at JTS.

Drunk people hate being wet, I think it confuses them. I was sober and hated being wet.

Also, if I get junk punched, no way I’m able to kick someone.

Have to interview IC people and University people on how they came up that shaking your hand is waving. The different styles they have and such since Iowa invented waving.

How about being a "Big 10 trail Blazer" when you played in the Big EAST for that Carlie Lloyd interview they promoted.

I hate when fans celebrate and direct it at the opposing fans. I don’t mind going nuts. If you direct it at other fans, like you did something, that’s bush league. We had Hawk fans next to us in Jack Trice last year and I had to tell the dudes wife that they are surrounded by people that are ready to kick his ass. She finally calmed him down. Cheer your ass off but be respectful.
