We will see but they have a pretty good 2nd RB in Michael Carter who I think will get a decent amount of carries as well.
I suspect Carter will be 3rd down and change of pace until Breece is able to get his feet under him and take on the bulk of the work. He was a good pass catcher out of the backfield last season.

If that happens, shorter career and no balanced offense. I think they'll be pretty balanced.
Most teams rush the ball 25 to 30 times per game. As a featured back, 20 wouldn't be huge. Troy Davis never really got going until 25 or so.

The Jets are probably going to play from behind a lot. That will be his biggest obstacle to getting 20 carries more than anything IMO. Probably realistically looking at this:

Weeks 1-8: 10-15 att/game
Weeks 9-18: 12-18 att/game

Still mad he landed with the Jets. Them and the Jags are by far the worst teams in the NFL

Yeah, if you get down 2 or 3 scores, you have to pass more. And more carries week after week increases chance of injuries.

Derrick Henry averaged 27 attempts a game in 8 games played which is absolutely bonkers. Jonathan Taylor, who led the league in rushing, averaged 19.5 carries playing in every game. 20 a game is plenty and I'll be very happy if Breece hits that average. If he stays on the field and gets most of the passing down work, I'll be ecstatic.

And Houston and Detroit…
Some experts have Detroit as a sneaky decent team. I'm just not seeing it. I think they might be better than the 3 wins they got last year, but I'm not sold on them doing much better than 7 wins at most. It must be because of their schedule

Is their salary cap better? Can’t get much worse than having so much dead cap that you have to pick up UFA and start them due to cap space

Agree. The Jets infused an awful lot of talent across the board. They won’t be good, but they won’t be the bottom feeders, either.
Yes, I don't see them being drastically better --they'll still finish last in the AFC East-- but 6 wins should be doable for them.

Good on the Jets for realizing BH's talent where all the others passed him up in the first round because backs aren't the focal point of the game any more. We've all witnessed how having that guy makes everything else run much smoother. Kid will be a ProBowler.

If he becomes the deal for the Jets, it's going to be funny as a casual NFL fan to get excited to watch the...Jets?
