Yeah...not impressed by how BU handled the end of the game (starters in) and celebrating on our court and "interacting" with our crowd on their way out before our senior night. They kicked our butt, but have some class. My opinion...
Nothing against those women because they're great athletes but do you ever see that type of player coming here?

I mean it’s Baylor what do you expect? They deserved to celebrate or do what they want because they just kicked our ass. Not my cup of tea or how I would want my team to be but whatever.

I always just get a kick out of their celebrations and such like it’s really a big achievement when you are so far and away the most talented team in the conference it’s like yeah, you should be winning these every year.

I live in CT and wife is a UConn alum and huge women’s fan. They celebrate conference titles and conference tournament titles but it’s really ho hum because let’s be honest aside from that run Notre Dame had for like five years nobody was or is in the same galaxy as UConns talent in the Big East or American when they were in that.

I am going to end with this tonight. I don't know if there is a better team than Baylor and if they win the B12 tourney they should get a 1 seed. They tripped up a few times, but this team is stupid good.
South Carolina is nasty with Boston. Would be a hell of a game.

Not exactly sure.

Yeah, Kim M and Bill are two different types. Bill is more a thinker and skills type player. Kim (how baylor still is) is huggy bear style, they can’t call all of them and after a bit they will get desensitized to the contact and not call them for anything.

I just don't see that attitude meshing in central Iowa.

I think their losses were due to injuries too.

Still disagree?
Are you joking? We played our F game, what a joke for you to say that. 18.2% from 3? I said B+ gets it done, and I think it would have. Our guards early had plenty of time to shoot and shot open 3's and missed. We haven't missed this kind of shots all year. Then we get timid, stop shooting and force it inside. Ash shot horribly, probably her worst game this year. Yes I disagree, and its nuts that you think this game validates your opinion.

If Ashley doesn’t return, I wonder if Bill will change his offense. I don’t see anyone returning that can keep trying to score down low while getting hammered every time and no fouls called

I think her reaction may have shown she is gone.

Ok dude whatever helps you out. Honesty is the best policy when you are a fan of a team. We played five games against the type of team Baylor is. LSU and Baylor/Texas twice. All the same result and it’s hilarious you think that anything other than an A game is going to see our girls beat these type of teams. Unless those teams play just well below average we aren’t beating them without an A game, which is at least 15 threes. Maybe even a couple more.

Also maybe we shot and looked so poorly because oh I don’t know, Baylor is just way better and made us look that way? Their length puts a little extra doubt in shooter’s minds and that’s a huge factor for misses. No coincidence we continue to shoot poorly against these type of teams. Must just be terrible luck every time.

Someone or someone’s with better knowledge of this help me understand how we get curb stomped by Texas and Baylor every time we play them? I get they have taller, more athletic players, but as others have said teams like Oklahoma and Kansas have beaten them and we have destroyed them. Even with the recruiting imbalance we absolutely should not be getting whooped like this as the #8 team in the country, let along doing so at home. There has to be something else to it.

Even with this being a hyped game, you just knew there wasn’t a way we would stay with them. It’s a depressing feeling with an overall good team and damn good season. So, what’s up?
It's my opinion there is something mental. We had open looks, and people are way over playing Baylor (or Texas) d on the 3 point line. They dont play any closer to us that Tech or anyone else did. We missed open shots. We did the exact same thing second time against Texas. Shots we make in every other game.

Learn to watch basketball better. They crowd us much more on the three point line and their length is superior to teams like Tech. That little difference in having to shoot a hair quicker or thinking you have to is huge when you are a shooter unless you already have quick release like Steph Curry and hell even Caitlin Clark.
