He’s a guy that could lead us deep into March. If not for Agbaji I’d say he’s B12 PoY and right now he’ll be first team and an All-American of some sort.
If voters really understood basketball and watched games he absolutely should be in that discussion. He’ll get overlooked because of our brand and because his numbers aren’t gaudy. But I don’t know if there is anyone in the country that means more to their team than IB does to us.

Couple of things that will not be talked about enough tonight because IB obviously the highlight:

- Conditt comes off the bench for the first time this year and has arguably his best game. 10 points with no missed shots or free throws. 8 boards. 3 assists to 1 turnover. 2 blocks. 2 fouls.

- Yes, Hunter had a few doozies down the stretch, but scored 5 early points in OT. Pretty efficient 18 points overall on 13 shots.

- Gabe struggled and missed huge free throws, but stayed locked in and took that charge at end of regulation to send it to OT.

hunter and Gabe are going to receive rightful criticism for aspects of their play, but we also don’t win without their contributions.
Gabe also had 5 assists and zero turnovers. The guy can't hit a shot on most nights, but he brings it in almost every other area.

Difference in mentality between this team snd recent years. Most guys stop playing if they’re not getting theirs on offense. Did not realize the 5:0 ratio - easily his best of the year.

I’m 100% fine with Gabe’s game outside his FT’s. But I’m sure he’s fine there and was just off a tad.

Was refreshing to see Conditt on the floor in OT, plus he had a stat-stuffing game: 10 pts on 4-4 shooting, 8 boards 4 assists and only 2 fouls. The move to start Jones to absorb some early fouls paid off. Post production like that night in and night out could really push the needle for this club.

Yep. If we can get that kind of production from Big George from here on out, it'll be huge.

I hate ESPN+. Fouls and stuff always off. Announcers not there so they don’t tell you if it’s a foul, turnover, jump ball or what. They show the crowd during free throws so you guess what happened by crowd reaction. Let’s please get that part better.
You can’t convince me that this is what the Big 12 signed up for. ESPN has to do better.

I pick my spots. Sorry you had to watch us gut out a tough roadie. That had to suck for you.

I still stand by the fact they play a LOT smarter than the guys, and are more enjoyable to watch for the most part.

I can’t stand poor fundamentals and just plain stupidity….. its frustrating to watch.

Excellent points...especially regarding Hunter and Gabe. It's what the coaches see as well.

He had a fairly big bucket in the second half when it looked like Okie State was really gaining momentum. It was a runner off the glass, don't remember the time left.
