one of the weirder, dumber plays I've ever seen. Reminds me of a year or so ago at TCU where he had a really incredible mind cramp and had a fumble - INT for a TD.


Just one of those...WTF moments have accompanied a stellar career. Most players are going to catch the ball or something, IDK if he jumped early but it looked like he ended up knocking the ball forward....

The fault I'll give him is not realizing that when the defensive end throttles down like that yes, its on the offensive linemen to get his hands down but its also on the QB not to throw it right at him to knock down essentially.

For every great play Purdy makes he makes an equally terrible one. I know I will get roasted for saying this, but I’m totally ready to move on from him. Have been since the Iowa game.

most of my friends have been as well. He hit his ceiling—should have gone with dekkers mid season. Dekkers has much more potential to be elite. Trouble with that is idk if we can trust manning to draw up the correct plays. Lord knows he hasn’t for Purdy.

I agree... its a tough pill to swallow. Oddly fitting though because for as great he has been much of his career it does seem like there are these other moments that leave you scratching your head....
