No way. We played there my senior year and it was awesome. A lot better than a run down dome
Will be curious if they look to split the baseball tournament like this past summer.

IMO it would be cool to play state tournament games for some classes at the Field of Dreams site. With Frank Thomas and investment group buying the land, will be interesting how they develop land beyond hosting a single MLB game.

Evidently last year they tried to get the games at the MLB field at the field of dreams but MLB shot it down

The Dome kinda sucks for fans but it's still awesome for high school athletes.
Honestly kind of sucks as a player even. Sidelines are narrow and hard to move around on. As the "visiting" team in 2010 We got dressed in a cramped locker room meant for woman's soccer. I don't remember how many guys we brought along but barely had any room. The experience and stuff was cool playing the semi final but was that great logistics wise.

I hope very little. What makes that place what it is is how simple and remote it is. Adding much more will just **** it up.

Did the sidelines smell like piss? I remember that being horrible.

The UNI dome is right sized for the playoffs. Haven't been there for a long time for a game so I will defer to the people who say it needs sprucing up. But it is the right size.

You're going to run into the locker room problem everywhere. There isn't a venue in the state that is set up for more than two teams at a time.

I can't remember who it was playing before us, but the idea you could fit a 4A team bringing I think around 80 guys, and put us in a room meant for 20 maybe??
