Team played too s***ty in the first half to overcome it second half. That simple.

They were bad this game sure, but have been pretty fantastic the rest of the year sans WV.

The secondary has been suspect or bad all season and the tackling/pursuit has generally not been sharp.

Those things catch up.

Repeating and repeating: those last 3 or 4 plays before ISU's field goal were a mess in general. How are things not more organized for that?

How is there STILL no rhythm or pace to getting plays in and ran?

How is the check down not basically automatic to at least get SOMETHING and let players make the play?

Had been scoring at will and just played for a FG at the end.

We should be embarrassed. No refs to blame today. This team is consistently not prepared. Our OC’s strategy is bewildering. This is on the coaches plain and simple. Get the team up for every game.

Time for John to retire. There was no comparison in what team had the better DBs. ISU gives a 5 yard cushion to begin with and also gets burned deep. DBs are completely worthless in coverage . If it weren’t for stealing play calls, we would look this bad every game.

On a brighter side, next year when we suck, we won’t be crying for the graduating seniors because they are not playing like seniors.!

Why do you think we'll suck? Because we lost some accomplished players? Because we're going to be young and lose a good group? It might happen but I don't think its a forgone conclusion.

as for the game itself. I want to be pissed at the ending but we didn't deserve to win. We had not played well enough all night so while I'm sad... its not quite as crushing as it would have been had we been the better team all game.

so much to think about.

Purdy playing better in the 2nd half but three picks and a couple other that maybe could have been. Not a great game.
Our complete inability to run the ball.
Our inability to stop the run.
Datrone Young continuing to get onto the field.
Our inability to stop anyone as a defensive unit.
Trying to have Jared Rus run essentially a deep crossing route or potentially a corner route in the red zone . Why?
Much of the defense looking allergic to tackling
Play calling just in general
Our coaching staff's lack of ability to have this team prepared on back to back road trips where by rights we could be sitting at 8-2.
Tom Manning... just.... I know we scored 38 but Tom Manning....just...

I'm not sure if I was drinking too much cool-aid but I we'd be the second best team in the Big 12, at worst 3rd. Barring a miracle... Its hard not to feel disappointed which I know is nothing compared to what the players feel. Just a sad game.
