Can we get back to asking how Garza and his buddies give up 95 points to team that wasn't in the top 90 in scoring?
The answer is that while Garza was scoring 36, the Ducks were scoring 46 in the paint. Iowa probably thought - no problem - our guards will make up the difference.

Garza had a great career but really should have gone pro after his head turning performance last year. He became predictable early this season and it honestly looked like teams stopped caring if he got his as long as nobody else did. I'm not sure anything he did this year mattered. Teams knew Fran was gonna run the offense thru Garza and they simply did not care. Should have gone out while the getting was good.

Double digit losses with NPOTY.

Seemed like strategy worked.

Didn't he basically get bad feedback which was why he didn't go pro?

Probably make some good money overseas but it's a little scary thinking of him vs. today's NBA bigs or just trying to keep up.

Having everyone back from a decent team the year before, especially when college basketball is down, isn't a bad move. Problem is there wasn't much room for improvement on the team since they're so limited elsewhere.

Jeez, he got his jersey retired while he was still wearing it.

Gotta look at the important stuff!

Although Ashley is a better basketball player than most of the Iowa men's team guards, I don't think she or the JOENSFATHER is relevant to the Hawkeye suckitude that is the topic of this thread. If you want to discuss player parents that are relevant to the Fran Fade, then let's talk about Mad Fran's megalomaniacal wife and Luka's felonious father.

The JOENSFATHER's righteous idignation at criminal officiating also doesn't compare to Luka's dad fraudulently preying on little old ladies, some of whom never received full restitution for his criminal behavior.

Not exactly sure.
That makes sense. Hawkeye Elvis is Margaret McCaffery's cousin.
One of those people that I wouldn’t let young children around. Nice that he still has his mommy sew his costumes for him.
