Anyone want to take a stab at what the preseason predicted order of finish will be? I’ll go with:

1. Oklahoma
2. Iowa State
3. Texas
4. TCU
5. Oklahoma State
6. West Virginia
7. Kansas State
8. Texas Tech
9. Baylor
10. Kansas

1 - OU
2 - ISU
3 - OSU
4 - UT
5 - TCU
6 - WVU
7 - KSU
8 - TTU
9 - BU
10 - KU

Could flip flop 3 and 4 or 5 and 6, but UT will have both a new coaching staff and new QB (although he looks like a stud). I think OSU loses alot on defense and Tylan Wallace, but with Gundy and Sanders and Leddie Brown they'll be competitive in every game.

Is there a more reliable team to finish last in their conference in power conference sports than Kansas football? 11 of the past 12 seasons and the 1 season they didn't they finished second to last.

I wouldn’t put stock into this years numbers. They played a very low level schedule. I believe at least 2 1AA schools even. Had 1-2 teams I had never heard of.
And had a future NFL QB running the show.

Rutgers. Kansas even waxed them a few years back.

Did I miss Leddie Brown transferring from WVU to OSU?

1. OU - Best until proven otherwise
2. ISU - Dark horse no more
3. OSU - How much fuel does Gundy have in the tank?
4. UT - New HC, new QB, but the Horns will always have talent
5. TCU - Could this be the twilight of the Patterson era?
6. WVU - Looking to sustain a strong 2020 defense, can they find an answer at QB?
7. KSU - Ravaged by injuries in 2020, can a healthier team get back to contender status?
8. BU - Aranda's defense showed improvement through 2020, what will the post-Brewer era look like?
9. KU - The youth of KU is finally starting to develop and actually show up in the win column
10. TTU - The Wells era looks like a failure and the Raiders lament ousting Kingsbury

Other bold predictions:

-The Big 12 CCG is a win and in scenario for both teams to get to the playoff
-Big 12 goes 24-6 in non-con play including 6-2 against P5 opponents
-KU loses @ Coastal while winning @ Duke
-OU beats Nebraska by 30+ in Norman on 9/18/2021
-Big 12 will have 2 Heisman finalists (Hall and Rattler)
-Either Gundy or Patterson retire at the end of the 2021 season
-TTU flirts with Tom Herman to be their HC in 2022

The only thing clear to me at this point in time is ISU and OU being one/two in whatever order you choose to place them. I'd put OU first only because ISU has to travel to Norman. But the Clones are no less loaded.

TCU gets it's normal overvalued placement. My view is that 4-9 are muddy waters that won't clear until the games are played next fall.

Ku is properly placed.

1. OU - best
2. OSU - talent and coaching
3. UT - talent
4. Baylor - offense improves enough to help defense
5. WVU - similar to baylor
6. ISU - bright lights too bright
7. TCU - at least better than bottom 3
8. KSU
9. TTU
10. Kansas

I think 3-6 are all going to be close.
We’re starting the drinking early I see

I find it hard to believe that KU will be anything but dead last. They have recruited a few better guys, but a lot of those guys are going to head elsewhere soon. Les is a mess, might not be the worst KU hire in the last 10-15 years, but that is a really low bar.
