Official ISU vs Missouri Game Thread

Im not surprised by the outcome, I liked a fair amount of what I saw, but obviously there is alot to work on.

Yeah... had some good plays just not enough of them together

Interceptions in the endzone from the 2 yd line...

You're talking about... crap just slipped my brain

Thomas Hill, the Vice President of Student Affairs.

Did that last time we played Mizzou - passed the head Ref on the way in, he called us crazy. Jeff Johnson about **** himself when he saw us come in and start walking among the donars :biglaugh:

We headed for the door just as the team was about to head out... so they all had to walk past us as they headed out. Got some funny looks

One of my coolest Jack Trice stories is walking down the ramp after the team did... all of the people on the hill were still at the fence and clapped and cheered for us on our way back to the front row (before we let Jeff Johnson take us in, we made him promise we'd still have our seats when we got back. You can tell where our priorites were...)

Haha yeah it was a fun time, people came up to us and starting talking to us and all that. It was awesome, we walked down like 5 minutes after the team, but all these people were cheering for us haha it was awesome. Too bad the outcome couldn't have gone our way but I'll still cheer for Cyclone through thick and thin. 25 degrees or 80 degrees.

That was my first chance to see the defense live and inaction since the Kent State game. Man, do they get picked apart!
On the plus side, our punt returning struggles don't get highlighted:wideeyed::wideeyed:

Way to stay positive...

Way to stay positive...

That reminds me of the episode of "Coach" where Luther wins a local place's contest for picking the score and the score was a 44-3 loss.

Coach: Luther, why can't you be positive?
Luther: I wanted to say 44-0. I threw in the 3 to be positive.

That game kind of washes out a lot of Kool-Aid. Just wanted to find something in there.

Man, I know it's been said a thousand times, which is probably why we're not even bothering to do a postgame thread, but that defense is terrible. It just looks to me like opposing offenses must live it up the week we're coming up on the schedule.

I think every team going for it on 4th down says it all

Can somebody please explain the illegal substitution penalty after AA got hurt and had to come out. Did the coaches not know the rules, or think the refs were dumb enough not to notice him lined up right? Even if they thought that, why take the risk. There would be nothing to gain from having him out there.
