Cyclones make the top 5 for SDE Tyson Watson, who was offered on a visit 7/27/19. Committing Friday but all 5 crystal balls are for MSU.

Did indeed commit to Sparty. Which doesn’t fuss me, because he looked like a good-but-not-great prospect to me—and it uses up one of their DE slots, when we’re still recruiting some of the same prospects.

We recruited a guy for 2019 who was 6'11 350 lbs who landed at Texas Tech.

I haven't seen a guy who is 7'+ with a 3 star rating. Rivals is inaccurate about his height; he is 7 ft. Which makes me wonder, is he still growing???

If he gets to 7'6", we might want to try him at tight end.
Rivals has him at 6’8”, MaxPreps at 6’9”.

I don’t know which of the three is right, but I’m looking at a team photo on Facebook. If he’s 7’0”, that means that the coach next to him is at least 6’10”—and he has a teammate on his eight man team who is about 6’8”.

Either way, he’s huge, fit and surprisingly mobile. I can see him making a good right tackle.

Let’s see if this works...

this is honestly what I am hoping for as he looks to have ok speed for his size, imagine trying to have a LB or safety on him, but some of the trench work, looks like he will need some work on. I like this get just based on size alone though he will hopefully be a great development type of guy. but also no wonder he doesn't have many offers hes playing 8 man ball.

He was 6'8" his freshman year (when that photo was taken). He's 7 ft now. He moves VERY well for a 7 ft monster.

Not a “get”. He hasn’t committed yet, he just posted a tweet with a promo image he was sent.

Unless someone wants to let me in on a secret?
