Prince to resign from KSU

Turner Gill's job.

edit: just make sure I get an extra 1 million credits when its announced.

If he gets the job I just hope he is successful. Can you imagine the "skers reaction to a successful Turner Gill in Manhattan, while they are stuck BOlieving.

They should take the football recruits to the pregame. The running onto the field. Have them watch Leonard Johnson return a kick. Explain to them he owns the record for most kick return yards ever in an NCAA game. Then get them the hell out of there before they see what Mizzou does to us. Maybe take them over to Hilton and have them watch Brackins and boys put on a show.

That is how we need to treat the football recruits for that game.

The KSU People expect some wins after three years. His team showed no improvement. He failed to produce. The future handwriting was on the wall. He was a degrade from Bill Snyder.

Wow. His teams haven't been so bad, and to think that if you even mention replacing Chizik you get a message box filled with profanities. Maybe that explains Obama taking Iowa.

So, how was it that his teams were able to beat Texas two years in a row? Special teams?

Surprised he wasn't able to carry momentum from those wins into other games.

Two things:

1. It's time to go steal some K-State recruits.

2. K-State is going to suck for at least a few years while the next coach fixes the mess that Prince created. It will be interesting to see if they continue recruiting a lot of JUCOs. Snyder was able to win that way, but Prince went overboard.

Because... Everyone knows if a coach doesn't succeed after 2 years in rebuild mode, you should just fire him and start over....

We should of fired McCarney too, after his first 4 years...:no::no:

If Snyder wanted to come back, then the AD had pretty good reason to fire Prince. I would assume that Snyder would only take over for a few years (3-4) and would name his successor.

If Snyder were to come back, hopefully we would be able to smash his team every year.

Especially after what he said about us before he retired.

I don't think it was so much the fact that he didn't have a good record as it was all the juco's and that they were extremely inconsistent.

Prince was 2-0 against Texas and yet he had a losing record at KState. If you can beat Texas, you should be able to beat other north teams. I'm guessing that most KState fans believe that they actually have a extremely talented team that is not well coached. Maybe they do, but I'm guessing those wins against Texas were a fluke and that KState is not as talented as the fans think- kind of like Iowa State in '06.

Ive always liked ron prince i think hes a good coach but he needs to bring in more freshman i dont know what it is but he needed longer to achieve something down in manhattan best of luck to them the rest of the year, hopefully we will win now except it will be there last game of the year kinda like mccarney and mizzou cept everyone loved mccarney and the tension wasnt as bad
