Prince to resign from KSU

Didn't they just give him a 4yr. extension before the season? That's going to be a big payoff.

It really depends on the formality of the issue. Officially if he resigned, there is no payout to be had. I'm sure it's not 100% his own decision, and he will see something.

They should take the football recruits to the pregame. The running onto the field. Have them watch Leonard Johnson return a kick. Explain to them he owns the record for most kick return yards ever in an NCAA game. Then get them the hell out of there before they see what Mizzou does to us. Maybe take them over to Hilton and have them watch Brackins and boys put on a show.

That is how we need to treat the football recruits for that game.

Priceless!

Houston Nutt officially resigned last year....still was given $3 million as a going away present, and 2 days later was head coach at Ole Miss. I think most coaches resign offcially, just requires some reading between the lines..

I just hope Ditka doesn't get it. We'd have to hide the women and children when Chizik and Ditka met in Arrowhead...

Anyone know if he is stepping down immediately, or at the end of the season? The article made it seem like it was effective immediately.

Well the cyclones should win this game with all of the distractions with the wildcats. If Iowa State does not win I think lost words will be my answer I will not be a happy camper. The coaching staff should go after there recruits that chose them over the good guys!! Go get em clones:smile:

Whenever we talk about K-State it is mandatory to post this video, which they will have to change now:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A-05wPlQQ4]YouTube - Hey KSU: 1989 called, it wants its promotional video back![/ame]

Kevin Keitzman of Sports Radio 810 in KC (K-State Grad with good connections to the program) said today that Bill Snyder wants to come back.............discuss.

This made me laugh, and then made me cry. Typical day in the life of a Cyclone fan.

I think that is unlikely. Snyder would be 70 years old when the season starts next year.

Kietzman was pretty adamant that Snyder was coming back. He even had a caller say that he knew the Snyder family and that is was not true. Keitzman just blew him off and stayed with his comment. The call in show got real heated at times with KSU fans and the hosts.

3 years is not long enough to build a program back up.

Hopefully we are more patient with Chizik.

This is the second coach that has "stepped down" only months after having been re-signed to a new contract.
